- Engineers (Electrical)- Electrical Machines - 32 years
- Engineers (Electrical)- Control & Instrumentation - 32 years
- Engineers (Environmental) - 32 years
- The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary :
- Fixed Consolidate honorarium of Rs 60,000/- per month (CTC). However, higher consolidated honorarium (CTC) will be negotiable for deserving candidates depending on their academic qualification and job experience.
- In addition to consolidated honorarium, special allowance shall be payable location wise as applicable at the place of posting.
- Based on performance, on successful completion of continuous one year period/service in the event of extension an annual increase of 8% of honorarium per month may be considered.
Education Qualification :
- Engineers (Civil) -
- Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/ Institute.
- Engineering Discipline: Civil Engineering
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro/Thermal/ Solar/Wind
- Engineers (Electrical) -
- Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc.-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/ Institute.
- Engineering Discipline: Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro/Thermal/ Solar/Wind
- Engineers (Mechanical) -
- Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc.-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/ Institute.
- Engineering Discipline: Mechanical/Mechanical & Automation Engineering
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro/Thermal/ Solar/Wind
- SPECIALIZED BRANCH (Master Degree Holders)
- Engineers(Civil) -
- Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc) & Master’s Degree (M.E./M-Tech/MS) is the relevant discipline from recognized University or institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks.
- Engineering Discipline: Fluid Mechanics
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro Plant ≥ 500 MW.
- Engineers (Electrical) -
- Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc) & Master’s Degree (M.E./M-Tech/MS) is the relevant discipline from recognized University or institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks
- Engineering Discipline: Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Control & Instrumentation.
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro Plant ≥ 500 MW.
- Engineers (Environment) -
- Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc) & Master’s Degree (M.E./M-Tech/MS) is the relevant discipline from recognized University or institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks
- Engineering Discipline: EnvironmentEngineering
- Experience: Post Qualification experience of 1 year in Executive/ Officer Cadre in relevant field of Hydro/ Thermal/ Solar/Wind.

- Candidate belonging to General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category are required to pay non-refundable registration fee Rs. 600 (Rs Six Hundred Only) through online mode. The SC/ST/PwBDs/ExServicemen/Departmental candidates (THDCIL Employees only) need not pay the Registration fee.
Selection Process
- The Eligible candidates shall be shortlisted category-wise for Personal Interview.
- The Selection Process consist of marks obtained in Academic Qualification, Job Experience and Personal Interview.
