• The Salary is given for Assistant Professor – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- Per Month

Education Qualification :

• Panjab University requires Masters Degree, M.Phil, Ph.D. candidates to apply for their Assistant Professor notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
• Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Biochemistry from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree)
• The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai)
• Job Requirement: The candidate is required to oversee the proposed research activities in the context of pulmonary disorders/autoimmune diseases with a specific focus on immunology/ Bioinformatics. The candidate is expected to contribute to developing research facilities such as a lung function lab, handling sophisticated equipment’ like Luminex and real-time PCR, and training the manpower on them. the candidate will work with the Project Assistant (hired under the project) in executing the experimental work, collecting, analyzing, and compiling the data, and writing reports and manuscripts related to the project. The candidate may also be involved in the teaching and training of UG and PG students.
