The Government of Tamil Nadu Revenue Department has issued a new recruitment notice for the vacant posts of Grama Niladharis for the year 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 on the basis of ethnic rotation. Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates as per the details given below.

Age Limit :
- i) Adithravidar, Adithravidar (Arundhatiyar), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Class / Retirement, Backward Class, Backward Class (Muslim) and unsupported widows of all classes Minimum age 21 years (must be completed). Maximum age 35 years (should not be over).
- ii) Others (Adithravidar, Adithravidar (Arundhatiyar), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Class / Serampore, Backward Class, Non-Class (Muslim) Minimum Age 21 years (must be completed). Maximum age is 30 years (should not be over).
- iii) Persons with disabilities are eligible for the age limit concession for up to 10 years above the prescribed age limit.
Salary :
- The minimum monthly salary is Rs. 11,100 to a maximum of Rs. Up to 35,100 will be provided.
Education Qualification :
- Applicants should have the following qualifications.
- Minimum Educational Qualification: 5th Class Pass

Selection Process
- The appointment reservation rule for the post of Grama Niladhari will be followed on a circular basis.
- Circular vacancy allocation will be announced later as per the rules in force.
- The number of vacancies announced is approximate. For change in the number of vacancies until before the selection takes place
- Subject to.
- Eligible female applicants for places reserved for women
- If not available, the vacancies allotted to them will be filled by male applicants belonging to the same class.
- The appointment reservation rule for unsupported widows and ex-servicemen also applies.
- The conversion percentage of transferees should be between 40% and 50%. Blind and deaf people are not eligible for this information.
- Applicants for this position must be a permanent resident of that circle. Voter ID card / Aadhar card / Family card / Driving license should be submitted as proof of permanent address. The decision of the appointing officer regarding the ambiguity arising in connection with the permanent address of the petitioner is final.
- Such application will be rejected if the applicant's details regarding reservation type, age and education and other basic qualifications are found to be incorrect.
- Eligible applicants will be issued a hall ticket for the written test in person.
- Applicants must come at their own expense to write the exam and verify the certificate. Requests to change exam centers will not be accepted.
- Applicants' marks obtained in the written examination and place of appointment
- Selection will be made following the allocation rule.
How to Apply :
- Applications can be completed in the prescribed form and sent by post or in person. More than one application will be rejected.
- Applications should be sent with self attestation at the top of the photo with a recent passport size photo affixed in the appropriate place on the application.
- Only copies of all certificates should be duly self-certified and sent with the application. Original evidence should not be attached for any reason.
- Incomplete applications and applications with incorrect information will be rejected outright.
- Applications should be sent by post or in person to the address given below.
- Only applications received within the specified last day will be considered.
- The envelope in which the applications are sent should clearly state "Direct Examination for the post of Village Assistant - July 2021".
