TN police SI Education Qualification:

•  degree in Science
• Candidates should have studied Tamil as a subject in X otherwise TNUSRB Conduct Tamil Test

1) Written Examination (Total Marks: 85 Marks)	(a) General knowledge	45 Marks
	(b) General Ability Test Police Administration, Crime Investigation and Basic Forensic Science.  includes Logical Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Psychology Test, Communication Skills and Information Handling ability. Police Administration, Crime Investigation, and essential Forensic Science topics will be broad as per syllabus in the basic training of Police Constables.	40 Marks
2)	Special Marks Winning of Medals in the National Police Duty Meet (Gold Medal – 5 marks, Silver Medal – 3 marks and Bronze Medal – 2 marks)	5 Marks
3)	Viva-Voce	10 Marks
