Educational Qualification to apply SBI Mumbai job

• Graduation in any discipline
• The official should either be a retired or serving officer, not below the rank of Deputy General Manager (or equivalent) of any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Financial Sector Regulatory Body other than State Bank of India or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s).
• The official should not have worked/ be working in any capacity in State Bank of India or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s).
• The official should have superannuated or have taken voluntary retirement at a rank not less than that of a Deputy General Manager (or an equivalent of Scheduled Commercial Bank other than SBI or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s).

Experience

• The official should possess the necessary skills and experience of minimum seven years of working in areas such as banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/ or consumer protection.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and after that, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Merit List:

Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.
